Lingerie retailer Rigby & Peller are hosting a joint event with fashion outlet L.K. Bennett to help promote and show joint support for the Breast Cancer charity CoppaFeel! The fashion show will be taking place in the L.K. Bennett store on Guildford High Street from 6pm-8pm on Thursday 8 May and will be showcasing some of the most recent styles.
Rigby & Peller are an English lingerie retailer who hold a Royal Warrant of Appointment, with seven high street stores including one on Tunsgate in central Guildford. They have worked in partnership with international luxury fashion brand, L.K. Bennett in the past, who have a franchise in House of Fraser and a store located at 135 High Street, Guildford. The two brands are avid supporters of each other and have teamed up to help spread Breast Cancer awareness with this event.
CoppaFeel! is one of Rigby & Peller’s chosen charities for the year and they are in discussions regarding other supporting events over the rest of the year.
CoppaFeel! are on a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer. Their job is to ensure that you know what the signs and symptoms of breast cancer are and what your boobs should look and feel like normally. A CoppaFeel representative or ‘Boobette’ will be at the event discussing the charity and its plans for the rest of the year as well as giving women advice and confidence.
On the night, there will be a fitting and styling speech from the Rigby & Peller team on whether you are wearing the correct bra size and how lingerie can affect your outerwear, with further talks from L.K. Bennett and CoppaFeel! The fashion show itself will introduce the latest Rigby & Peller Swimwear collection as well as L.K. Bennett’s latest collection.
There is expected to be as many as 30 or 40 guests attending and you can buy your ticket for just £5 a person from the store. Included in this price, you will obviously have entry to the event, with champagne and light refreshments available to all. Guests will also be given 20% discount available on both Rigby & Peller and L.K. Bennett products on any lines available in store, after the event or up until the end of May.
