There’s plenty going on in Guildford this weekend in the run up to Christmas.

Santa’s Christmas Adventure and Magical Journey is on at the G Live until Christmas Eve. Full of songs and stories Santa has to deal with a couple of naughty elves hiding on the sleigh who break his Sat Nav.

Tickets cost £13.50 for adults and £12.50 for children with the chance to meet Santa and receive a present after the performance.

It’s the final night of D!CK – The Adult Panto in the back room of The Star Inn on Friday. An adult take on the story of Dick Whittington, this is strictly for over 18s only. Tickets cost £14.50 or £12.50 concessions from www.ticketsource.co.uk/event/59770.

Welsh choral phenomenon Only Men Aloud are taking to the stage on Saturday at G Live. After winning a BBC competition the choir has gone from strength to strength winning awards and appearing at the Olympic Opening Ceremony. This year’s performance features their unique take on music from movies and musicals.

Guildford City FC play their final pre-Christmas fixture at the Spectrum Ground on Saturday. They’re facing Knaphill FC in the Combined Counties Football League Premier Division. Guildford are languishing second from bottom having won only one of their ten home games so need all the support they can get.

Tickets cost £7 for adults, £4 for concessions and £1 for under 16s.

Josie Lawrence is making her pantomime debut in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Yvonne Arnaud Theatre until Jan 4. Also starring June Whitfield as the wicked Queen and graduates from Guildford School of Acting, this is one not to be missed. Tickets are available from www.yvonne-arnaud.co.uk.

Finally Kickback Comedy returns to The Boileroom on Saturday with Nick Revell headlining with FHM’s Stand Up Hero Andrew Watts and Sofie Hagan. MC for the evening is Debra-Jane Appleby. Tickets cost £12 and are available from www.kickbackcomedy.com/tickets
