February Half Term Guide


It’s mid-February and half term is almost upon us so here’s a guide to some of the activities available to keep your little ones occupied.

SCL Half Term Clubs
Bushy Hill Junior School
Monday 15 to Friday 19 9.45am to 4pm or 8.30am to 5.30pm

SCL are holding two activity clubs this half term for ages four to 12 year olds at Bushy Hill Junior School.

Club Energy is a multi-activity club featuring activities such Street Dance, Tag Rugby, Arts & Crafts, Gymnastics, Cake Decorating and much more.

Soccer Schools Club

Activities at the Soccer Schools Club include Football Cricket, Penalty Shoot Outs, Football Tennis, Football Olympics, a Cross Bar Challenge and Skills School.

Prices for the clubs start at £22 per day for 9.45am to 4pm or £25 for 8.30am to 5.30pm.

Wild Wood Adventure and Wild Kids

Wild Kids

Teeter over bridges, balance across logs, swing on ropes and whizz back to earth on a zip wire including parallel zip wires so you can race your friends.

£17.50 adult and child. Children under 8 need to be accompanied by an adult.
Minimum age 6 years, height 1m (3 foot, 3 inches)

Wild Wood Adventure

Three levels of excitement starting at 5 metres off the ground and reaching 15 metres with rope bridges, wobbly crossings and high zip wires.

£20 child, £30 adult.  Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Age 11+ (minimum height 1.4m (4 foot 7 inches)

Hatchlands Half Term Trail
Hatchlands Park, East Clandon GU4 7RT
Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 10.30am to 7pm

Explore the parkland during half term with this fun donkey trail featuring lots of facts about donkeys and then meet them at the end.

Free – normal admission prices apply.

Half Term at Guildford Spectrum
Guildford Spectrum
Monday 15 to Sunday 21

Activities available at Guildford Spectrum during half term include trampolining, roller-skating, ice skating, archery, diving, gymnastics, swimming and bowling.

Wild Woodland Camp
Painshill Park, Cobham
Tuesday 15 to Thursday 18 9am to 4pm

The Wild Woodland Camp is three days of activities suitable for ages 8 to 13 covering a wide range of activities including bushcraft, woodland games, creating massive sandcastles, building campfires and creating tree trolls.

Grease The Musical Workshop
Guildford College, Stoke Road GU1 1EZ
Tuesday 16 to Friday 19 10am to 4pm

Four jam packed days of singing, dancing and acting for ages 8 to 12 lead by Niamh Kennedy-Myers who starred in the West End production as Rizzo. Learn the original choreography and direction with a performance on the final day.
