The Chinese style takeaway is connected to The Boileroom music venue in Stoke Fields and provides food to eat in or take away. They aim to provide an excellent standard of service, whether your food is delivered, for collection or eaten at The Boileroom music venue itself. The menu, which you can check out online HERE, consists of a huge variety of traditional starters, mains, noodles, rice dishes and drinks. For example, you can chose between 10 different types of rice, from your regular steamed to the likes of Chinese mixed vegetable fried rice, or if you would prefer, then you have a choice of ten types of Chow Mein (Soft Egg Noodles), ten Udon Noodles (Japanese thick noodles), eight Cantonese Style Fried Noodles (rice noodle) or seven Chop Suey (beansprout) dishes. Or alternatively, you can share one of the starter House Platters which offer a variety of sesame prawn on toast, spring rolls, crispy seaweed, spare ribs, vegetable samosas and deep fried king prawns.
The chefs take great pride in sourcing the finest, fresh ingredients to create great tasting meals for customers. And their mains include curries, sweet & sour, chicken, king prawn, beef, lamb, roast duck & pork, seafood and Thai red and green curries. So you can order anything from Chicken with Cashew Nuts and Yellow Bean Sauce to Sweet and Sour King Prawn Cantonese Style, from Grilled Pork with Chinese Style BBQ Sauce to Roast Duck with Ginger and Spring Onions. Where possible the Sizzling Wok also offers vegetarian alternatives to traditional and exciting new dishes like the delicious Stir Fried Tofu with Hot and Spicy Szechuan Bean Sauce and Fresh Mushrooms or the Singapore Fried Noodles with Chinese Mixed Vegetables. For the health conscious or food allergy sufferers among their clientele, they also aim to offer lower salt dishes, MSG free, wheat free and vegan dishes as and when requested.
