Looking to do something special for your mum this year? There are lots of things going on in Guildford to help you celebrate Mother’s Day. Check out our guide for some inspiration.

1. Mother’s Day at Clandon Park

Take her for a long, beautiful stroll at Clandon Park on Mother’s Day. You can also join in some arts and crafts activities and make her a unique gift. Once you’ve taken in the views of the spring flowers, treat her to a two-course lunch or a Wisley rhubarb afternoon tea in the Restaurant. 3. Gorse Hill Mother’s Day Lunch

For a fancy Sunday lunch, take her to Gorse Hill just five minutes from Woking town centre. They’re offering delicious three course Carvery lunch with plenty of choice, coffee in the lounge and a picturesque garden for the kids to run around in. It costs £24.95 per adult and £12.95 for under 12’s. Kids under 2 are free. Booking is essential.

4. Richard Onslow on Mother’s Day

The Richard Onslow is hosting two events on Mother’s Day. From 7:30am-12pm there’ll be a champagne brunch consisting of a selection of breakfast classics, complemented by a glass of champagne. From midday onwards they’ll be serving their a la Carte Menu, award-winning roasts and specials. If you dine between 4pm-5:30pm, you’ll get a free glass of fizz! Call 01483 274922 to book a table.

5. The Restaurant at the Mandolay

For a delicious meal in elegant surroundings, why not take her to the Restaurant at the Mandolay? They will be serving a special Mother’s Day menu; two courses for £21 or three courses for £27. 6. Mother’s Day Daffodil Pot Decorating, RHS Garden Wisley

For a pre-Mother’s Day treat, visit the RHS Garden Wisley. Not only will you be able to see the early spring flowers, you can also decorate a daffodil pot to take away for Mother’s Day. There are two two-hour slots: 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30-3.30pm. Call 0845 260 9000 for more information.

7. Mother’s Day at Barnett Hill

Take your mum to Barnett Hill and enjoy a three course meal prepared by award winning chefs. As an extra treat all mums will receive a gift! Cost is £28 per person kids 4-12 are half price and under 4’s are free. Check out the website for more details.

8. Carlo’s Mother’s Day Special Menu

Treat her to a gorgeous three-course meal at Carlo’s. There’s a wide range of dishes on offer, some of the main courses include: Frittura of calamari, monkfish, whitebait and zucchini; and Welsh leg of lamb abbacchio slow roasted with fresh peppers, red wine and onion. 9. Britten’s Mother’s Day Special

Britten’s has a special Mother’s Day menu to help you celebrate. It’s £30 for three courses and there’s a special Junior Britten Menu which consists of two courses for £12 including a drink. A deposit of £10 is required per person. Call 0148 3302888 for more details.

10. White Lion Walk Shopping Centre

If you’re unsure of what flowers to get her this year, then check out the White Lion Walk’s selection on Saturday 14th March. They’ll be giving a FREE bunch of flowers is you sign up for their newsletter or add them on Facebook. They’re available from 11am-4pm but there will be only 250 bunches so get their early!
