Turnbull Foundation Charity Golf Day

The Turnbull Foundation will be hosting a charitable golf day in aid of an Orphanage in India. This charity golf day will be to help the Anath Seva Ashram Orphanage in Nagpur, India. The event will be held at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club on Thursday 26th September 2013 and will start from 11am.

The Turnbull Foundation works hard to raise money to invest directly in projects designed to improve the situation of children living and working in extremely disadvantaged conditions. This year they have chosen to support the volunteer managed orphanage for children in Nagpur which looks after 50 children.

The event will cost £75 per person or £280 for a team of 4, all the donations and profits the foundation receive from the golf day will go into planning the main bedrooms and installing a new bed system for each of the 50 children. They will all individually have their own bed and ‘locker’ to keep their belongings in. At present, the children are divided into 2 bedrooms, each of which only have 4 beds, therefore many of the 50 children have to sleep on the floor- the Turnbull Foundation wants to help change this.

Hampton Court Palace Golf Club has kindly offered their 18-hole golf course located in the grounds of this historic Palace. After arriving at the club at 11am there will be tea and bacon rolls served at 12pm. By 1pm you will tee off with a shotgun start on the fantastic golf course. After finishing 18- holes of golf, a two- course dinner will be served with a raffle and auction from 7pm.
